Vince is the Founding and Managing Partner of the Ansanelli Law Group, LLP (“ALG”).  His primary area of expertise is in Elder Law and Estate Planning.

Vince assists clients with implementing estate plans that maximize asset protection and minimize the impact of estate, gift, and income taxes. Vince tailors estate plans to each client’s individual circumstances and objectives. He understands the unique financial, physical, and emotional challenges that affect elderly clients and their families. He employs a sensitive and compassionate approach to empowering clients, while ensuring that their needs are met.

Having over 30 years of valuable experience in the field of Elder Law, Vince knows how to compassionately balance family concerns for a loved one with effective planning.

Whether it is the drafting of your most basic Estate Planning documents, such as a Last Will and Testament, Health Care Proxy, or Durable Power of Attorney, or more sophisticated Trusts designed to protect your assets, Vince and the team at ALG are the attorneys that other professionals seek out to do the job correctly and with sensitivity.

Vince frequently contributes to Elder Law and Estate Planning forums, and has been featured in the Suffolk County Lawyer, as well as in Newsday’s “Ask the Expert,” a weekly column dedicated to Elder Law and Estate Planning issues.

Vince received his Juris Doctor degree from St. John’s University School of Law in 1986. Vince has an undergraduate degree in International Relations from Long Island University, where he graduated summa cum laude. Vince is also an alumnus of Chaminade High School, class of 1974.

Vince is an active member of the Nassau and Suffolk County Bar Associations, as well as the New York State Bar Association. He is the past Chair of the Solo & Small Firm Practitioner’s Committee of the Suffolk County Bar, where he served with distinction, receiving the President’s Award in recognition of his achievements as Committee Chair.  Vince is the current Co-Chair of the Nassau County Bar Association’s Planned Giving Committee. Vince is also a long-time member of the Suffolk County Bar Association’s Elder Law Committee and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA).  In addition, he is the Director of the Executive Board of the Suffolk County Estate Planning Council. He is also an active member of the Columbian Lawyers Association of Nassau County.

Vince is admitted in the State Courts of New York, U.S. Court of Appeals, U.S. Court of Federal Claims, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Vince proudly serves on the Executive Committee for Warriors for a Cause, a charitable organization known as a driving philanthropic force in New York. Vince has also served as past Chair of the Grace Day School Board of Trustees and currently serves on the Executive Board for The Somerset, a Five-Star Condo-Hotel Complex in the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Vince is an avid PADI certified SCUBA diver as well as an accomplished guitarist playing regularly with the “World’s Greatest Dance and Party Band,” Mid Life Crisis.
