Ellen is a Founding Partner of the Ansanelli Law Group, LLP.

Ellen is dedicated to working with clients to design tax mitigation and sophisticated planning strategies in order to maximize the value of their assets.  Also a Certified Public Accountant, Ellen understands better than most the tax implications and tax-related issues that often arise with asset transfers.  In addition, Ellen consults on a wide range of individual, corporate, partnership and LLC tax matters.

Having initially begun her career as an Auditor at Deloitte & Touche, Ellen worked as a Corporate Controller and Financial Director prior to obtaining her law degree. Ellen received her Juris Doctor degree from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, where she graduated with honors.

Ellen is an active member of the Suffolk County Bar Association, as well as the Elder Law, Taxation, and Education Law Committees.  She is also an active member of the New York State Bar Association, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Ellen is admitted to practice in the State Courts of New York, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, U.S. Court of Federal Claims, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York and the Supreme Court of the United States.

In addition, Ellen is a member of the Board of Trustees of Harmony Heights School and has served as its Treasurer since 2004.  Ellen is a past Vice Chairman and Treasurer of the Grace Day School Board of Trustees. Furthermore, Ellen is a Standing Member of the Committee on Special Education for the Copiague School District.
